Aachi Prawn Curry Masala is a spice mix to prepare a delicious spicy prawn curry according to an authentic Indian recipe. The prawn curry is delicious to eat with, for example, naan bread, roti or rice.

Explanation ingredients Prawn Curry Masala
Coriander: The leaves have a lemony taste, while the seeds have a slightly sweet, aniseed taste.
Cumin: gives a nutty and peppery taste to dishes. Can be used in, for example, curry or chili.
Red lentils: legumes.
Turmeric: spice extracted from the roots of the turmeric plant. It provides flavor and color in curry dishes.
Ginger: has an intense pungent taste. Can be used in, for example, desserts, bread or biscuits. In India it is widely used with fish.
Fennel: promotes digestion and freshens breath. Fennel tea is used for coughing.
Garlic: has distinctive flavor and can be used in many dishes.
Star anise: dried fruit with an aniseed flavour.
This product is packaged and/or stored in a facility that also processes products containing nuts, peanuts, mustard, celery, gluten, sesame, shellfish, soy, sulphite, fish and molluscs. Despite all precautions, this product may contain traces of these allergens.
Store in a cool and dry place. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container. The spice mix can be kept up to 2 years after production date.
Preparation Prawn Curry Masala
- Heat 150 ml of oil in a pan.
- Add 3 sliced onions, 2 sliced tomatoes and 1 tablespoon ginger/garlic paste and heat well.
- Add 50 grams of Aachi Prawn Curry Masala and the required amount of water and salt.
- Heat this over low heat for 15-20 minutes until the oil starts to separate.
- Add 750 grams of cleaned prawn and stir fry for 10-15 minutes until it starts to dry up.
- Serve it hot with, for example, roti, naan or rice.
