Explanation ingredients

Ginger: has an intense pungent taste. Can be used in, for example, desserts, bread or biscuits. In India it is widely used with fish.
Coriander: The leaves have a lemony taste, while the seeds have a slightly sweet, aniseed taste.
Pomegranate seeds: gives a fresh sour taste to dishes.
Garlic: has distinctive flavor and can be used in many dishes.
Fennel: promotes digestion and freshens breath. Fennel tea is used for coughing.
Cumin: gives a nutty and peppery taste to dishes. Can be used in, for example, curry or chili.

Storage advice

Store in a cool and dry place. Shelf life up to 2 years after production date. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container. Perishable after opening.

Preparation Rajma Masala

  1. Soak the beans in plenty of water overnight.
  2. Boil the beans under pressure, add a pinch of turmeric, salt to taste and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in the pan, add the chopped onion and fry until golden brown.
  4. Add chopped green chillies, Aachi ginger garlic paste and sauté.
  5. Add tomato paste and sauté until the oil begins to separate.
  6. Add chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and Aachi Rajma Masala and fry it.
  7. Add cooked rajma and mix well.
  8. Add salt to taste.
  9. Mix water according to requirements.
  10. Let it simmer for 10 minutes and serve it hot with roti, naan or chapathi.

After opening, store the rest of the spice mix in an airtight container and use a clean, dry spoon.
