Explanation ingredients

Coriander: The leaf gives a lemony taste, while the seeds have a slightly sweet, aniseed taste.
Turmeric: spice extracted from the roots Curcuma plant. It provides flavor and color in curry dishes.
Garlic: has distinctive flavor and can be used in many dishes.
Fenugreek: It is a plant of the legume family. The seeds can be used in salads, vegetable dishes or curry sauce, for example. It has its own specific taste.
Asafoetida: devil's dung (a herbaceous plant). It has a beneficial effect and promotes digestion. It is an alternative to using onion and/or garlic in dishes.

Storage advice

Preparation Rasam Powder

  1. Make 1 liter of tamerind juice.
  2. Fry mustard, peppers and curry leaves in oil.
  3. Add the tamerind juice.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of Aachi Rasam powder and salt to taste.
  5. Boil this for 10 minutes.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. The Rasam is now ready to serve.

After opening, store the rest of the spice mix in an airtight container and use a clean, dry spoon.
