Sakthi's Garam Masala is a blend of ground spices widely used in Indian cuisine to flavor both meat and vegetarian dishes. The spices for garam masala are usually roasted to bring out more flavor and aroma and then ground. The word masala simply means "herbs" and garam means "hot". Garam masala adds warmth, sweetness, floral notes and a hint of warmth from the black pepper. It is intended to be a fragrant spice as well as flavorful. Garam masala generally not fiery hot.

Explanation ingredients garam masala

Coriander: the leaves have a lemony flavor, while the seeds have a slightly sweet, aniseed flavor.
