The upma dish originates from the Indian subcontinent and is most common for breakfast in the South Indian Maharashtrian and Odia. The Rava Upma Mix is cooked like thick porridge and can be prepared with your favorite vegetables.

Keep in a cool and dry place. After opening, transfer the contents to an airtight container.
Step 1: Bring 500 ml water to the boil and add 2 tablespoons of ghee or oil and 200 grams of Rava Upma Mix.
Step 2: Let this simmer for about 5 to 7 minutes and add vegetables to taste. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Step 3: Serve the hot Rava Upma with chutney.
Variant: To make Khichidi, first add boiled carrots, peas and cauliflower to the boiling water with a pinch of turmeric. Only then add the Rava Upma Mix.
