Grains are in the disk of five. Cereal products with a lot of fiber contain beneficial nutrients. Think of carbohydrates, fiber, protein, B vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and zinc. The risk of cardiovascular disease is reduced with the consumption of grains. There is also a less chance of colon cancer and type 2 diabetes.
There are grains that are gluten-free. Millet is widely used in Indian cuisine. These products are gluten free. Rice, millet and corn are also gluten-free.
However, it can happen during the processing process that a so-called cross-contamination takes place. Because several products are processed and packaged, traces of gluten from other products may occur in the originally gluten-free grains. Grain where it is 100% certain that it does not contain gluten are labeled gluten-free in our shop. Grains without this label may contain traces of gluten.
