Beans and lentils are legumes. In our shop you can find a wide range. Our beans and lentils are dried. Before preparation it is advisable to soak it first. Each species has its own characteristics. You soak legumes at 3 times their weight in water. You can then boil them in the same water.
There are many varieties of beans and lentils. In our shop you will mainly find (frog) peas, urid, mung, chana, moong and masoor.
Beans and lentils are in the slice of five. Beans and lentils are high in carbohydrates, B vitamins, proteins, fiber and minerals such as iron, calcium, molybdenum and phosphorus. They lower cholesterol and help keep blood vessels healthy.
Beans and lentils are basically gluten free. However, it can happen during the processing process that a so-called cross-contamination takes place. Because several products are processed and packaged, there may be traces of gluten from other products in the beans or lentils. Beans and lentils with 100% certainty that they do not contain gluten are labeled gluten-free in our shop. The beans and lentils without this label may contain traces of gluten.
